The comic of Europe
The rest of Europe is killing itself with laughter. We sign a deal for nuclear power that ties us all in to paying twice the current price for electricity when the cost of renewables is falling so fast the future price will almost certainly be well below the current one. We have a prime minister who likes to imagine she is a bloody difficult woman. We have a year to prepare for the Brexit negotiations and arrive at the table with our plans in a complete shambles. And good old Boris is foreign secretary. Hilarious Albion. But I love my country. Sad.
