Half of all the species that exist will have disappeared by 2100. Untold millions of beautiful creatures that took millions of years to evolve. Surely this is the worst crime humanity has ever committed. Who is it? It’s us. Imagine the outcry if someone destroyed the Mona Lisa or the Birth of Venus. But they’re only paint and canvas. These are living and breathing beauty. Stand by for nature to hit back some time soon.
