per l’universo penetra, e risplende
in una parte piu e meno altrove.
The glory of the one who moves all things
penetrates the universe with light,
in some parts more radiant and in others less.
Can’t quite cope with Dante’s Paradiso but have always loved these opening lines and always dig them out on Trinity Sunday.
